FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS
On behalf of the Church of the Master Staff, thank you for answering the call to be a volunteer with our Children, Youth, or Older/Vulnerable Adult programming. We could not meet the spiritual needs of these ministry groups without volunteers like you! As you work through the training sessions, please reach out to your age level program staff if you have questions. We look forward to having you part of our age level ministry programs. We pray that you will find blessings as you give others the gifts of your time and talents on behalf of our Creator.
QUESTIONS
You will need to complete the following form and return it to the church via email or print them off and return it to the church: 1. Volunteer Application Your training is available via the video lessons below or by reading our Safe Sanctuary Policy PDF. When you are finished with the lesson, you can go to the comment of the video and click on the Google Form Quiz. Completing the quizzes will let us know you have completed the required training video and reading.
FOR CURRENT VOLUNTEERS
How Long is this training good for? This training is good for 2 years. For instance, if you completed your training in 2021, you will need to renew your training in 2023. My training is still valid, do I need to watch these videos? If your training is still valid, we would like you to watch video lesson #6 , which is our new Safe Sanctuary policy on Virtual meetings and social media. This piece was new in 2020, so all of our volunteers and staff need to be trained on this piece. You can also read through our SS policy via the PDF below. How do I get a copy of the entire Safe Sanctuary Policy? If you would like a full copy of the Church of the Master Safe Sanctuary Policy please click on the link below. If you would like a paper copy, please let our Office Administrator know and they will get you a copy.
You will need to complete the following forms and return them to the church via email or print them out and return then to the church. To complete a background check- you must submit your current email address to the office office@chmaster.org with a request for a background check. You will then receive an email from Ministry Mobilizer, which will request your permission to run a background check. All checks are completed digitally and kept on record digitally. 2. Auto Safety Form Your training to recertify on our Safe Sanctuary Policy can be found in the videos below or by reading the PDF file below. When you are finished with the lesson, you can go to the comment of the video and click on the Google Form Quiz. Completing the quizzes will let us know you have completed the required training video and reading.
